Many may not want to hire a mold service for detection and removal of mold. These services are expensive. If you feel you may have a mold problem, you should spare no expense to find out for sure. Certain types of mold, such as black mold, can cause respiratory damage along with other ailments. Mold of any type is not good for a home.
When you hire a mold service, they will come and check your entire home for mold. They have state of the art equipment that will allow them to spot even the minutest amount of mold. The will check from your attic all the way down to your basement if you have one. Anywhere that mold is located will be noted. The type of mold will also be noted. You will be given a written report when the mold service completes the home inspection. You will also be given an estimate on how much it will cost for the removal of mold.
If there is any black mold found, your family will need to vacate the house immediately. The mold service will then begin the mold clean up. They will make sure that all the mold is removed from your home. When your home is completely mold free, you will be able to move back in.
If you choose, you can do the mold clean up yourself and only pay the mold service for the detection. If it is not black mold, the clean up will not be as time consuming as it would be if it were black mold. Simply household cleaners can eradicate many types of mold with the exception of black mold. Again, you should have the mold service clean this up for you just to be safe.
It can be expensive to hire a mold service, but your family’s health is worth the cost. You do not want your family to get sick or even pass away because you want to save a few dollars for the removal of mold. This is why mold is considered very dangerous to any who live with it.
